The Department for Education (DfE) have now published updated Working Together guidance (2026) which replaces the previous version issued in 2023. They have also published a summary of changes to the guidance. Please review these changes to ensure you are adhering to these and take the opportunity to refresh yourself on the statutory guidance that underpins our work with children, young people and families.  

This is in addition to the Children’s Social Care framework having also been updated and published by the DfE.
